Armed Security Shift SupervisorAllied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Shift Supervisor.The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. An Armed Security Shift Supervisor acts as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. They supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.Site Location: Spartanburg, SCArmed Security Shift Supervisor: Morning Shift, Afternoon Shift, Evening ShiftEmployment Type: Full TimeStarting Base Pay: $23.50 per hourWorkdays Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, WednesdayMust Be 21+ Years of Age for RoleA Valid Driver's License3+ Year Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security or Certified Law Enforcement GraduateSupervisory ExperienceMust Have Great Customer Service SkillsMust Be Comfortable Using Computer or TabletResume preferred. Uniforms and Training at no cost to you!Qualifications/Requirements:Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalentPossess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective mannerLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsMust possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.Display exceptional customer service and communication skillsHave intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sitesAbility to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyCommunicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations ManagerAssure that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skillsAssure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Account or Operations ManagerAdminister JSA's and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for professional security officers on assigned shift including vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to Corporate proceduresAssist Account or Operations Manager to manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklistsAble to:Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heatOccasionally lift or carry up to 40 poundsClimb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shiftStand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of timeBenefits:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceCompany's retirement plansSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law
