Become part of our growing and dynamic Security Team!BAE Systems in Nashua, NH is looking to hire a Security Specialist to support the Electronic Systems Personnel Security Office - ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable manuals are implemented and compliance is maintained. Support the ES Security Personnel Clearance Processing, ES Visitor Control and ES Special Programs Processing across the growing Sector. This is a great opportunity to further your career and grow your skills in a high intensity, team-based environment.In this entry level Security Specialist I position you will make impacts in the following ways:Acquires, reviews, and processes to completion - Initial Clearances, 5 year clearance reinvestigations, reinstatements and clearance upgrades.Process ES New Hire's and Terminations - SIMS/DISS/NBISSupport and process PSQ's, Foreign Travel and reporting as per Special Program requirementsWorking knowledge of SIMS, DISS, eQIP/eAPP and NISSManage and maintain ES SIMS, DISS and NBISMaintain PERSEC Shared Area and PERSEC One SpaceDevelops security plans to comply with existing directives and future requirementsProvide/maintain monthly and quarterly metricsMaintain continuity plans relative to the PERSEC OfficeProfessional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, performs in a multi-tasked environmentAbility to manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.Additional duties as assignedThis opportunity will offer a hybrid remote work schedule where you spend part of your time on site, and part of your time remotely while also working a Nine-Eighty schedule that gives you every other Friday off . Required Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent2 or more years of administrative and clerical experienceMust receive Interim SECRET eligibility within 3 months of start dateEligible for Top Secret ClearanceExperience with PC's and office software, good writing skillsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenDecision making and reasoning skillsMust be organized and be able to work independentlyPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's DegreeTop Secret (TS) clearanceWorking knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and other related security manualsWorking knowledge of SIMS, DISS, NBIS, EQIP, EAPP, JADEPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $55295 - $94001 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
