They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.About the Role:xAI is seeking an engaging and professional security champion to support the ongoing growth of the organization's safety program.Reporting to the Security Operations Lead, Security Specialist Lead will manage the Security Specialist team and be prepared for response to security related incidents on site at all times. The Security Specialist Lead is a critical leader of the onsite security team and will operate with a heightened sense of security awareness.This is an in-person role based in Memphis, Tennessee, and may require minimal travel.Responsibilities:Supervise Security Specialist staffRotate working days of the week to fill in for staff on vacationDesign table-top security drills to ensure staff and Security Officers maintain security operational readinessAdapt to various roles within the security team, taking on different tasks based on operational needsIn concert with the site Security Officers, act as immediate response for on-site security issues.Basic Qualifications:3+ years of military, law enforcement, or emergency response experience.5+ years of management experienceBachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.CPR/AED Certified.Preferred Skills and Experience:CPP, PSP or equivalent certifications are a plus.5+ years of leadership experience in military, law enforcement or emergency response.Familiarity with troubleshooting access control and video management systems.Experience in a safety function managing large sites, corporate, or manufacturing environments is desirable.Additional Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.Personal integrity is crucial.
