Job description
Security SupervisorProvides first line supervisory capabilities within the Security/Courier Services Department to meet and achieve organizational goals and departmental objectives.Submits accurate written reports and documents findings of investigations.Greets and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees at entrances and exits.Provides effective leadership and guidance for Security Department personnel.Experience:3-5 yearsEducation:High School / GEDLicensures & Certifications:Valid Driver's License with ability to be cleared by Fleet Safety (driving record review required).Maryland Security Officer Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.IAHSS Supervisor Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.American Heart Association BLS Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.Pay Range: $20.06 to $30.09 Based On ExperienceBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire, plus wellness programs and mental health support403(b) retirement plan with employer match, pension, and life and disability insuranceTuition reimbursement toward advanced degrees and specialty certificationsGenerous paid time off, fitness discounts, and free on-site parkingAbout Sinai HospitalSinai Hospital of Baltimore is a nationally recognized academic medical center, a designated Level II Trauma Center, and the largest community hospital in Maryland.
