Those who are genuinely passionate about interacting with people, have an ability to establish connections with warmth and an engaging personality will enjoy this role.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome to the core of what being a Security Supervisor is all about!Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:Supervise all on-duty security personnel, including dispatcher. Coordinate job assignments and ensure that each officer is briefed on the day's activities. Compile information and file written reportsPatrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets. Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations. Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons. Assist sick and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports.Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts.Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.RequirementsHere's exactly what you need to excel in this role:The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):Have 3-5 years security experience in a supervisory related capacityGood communication skills, both verbal and written in EnglishAble to work independently and as a teamThe Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):Has a Class D License and CPR CertificateWe've kept it short and sweet – just the essentials you'll need.What We're Looking For: The Soul Behind the SkillsetSkills are teachable, but your spirit is what truly sets you apart.
