Overview
Seeking a Chief of Anesthesia to join an incredible team in West Palm Beach.
Highlights
Start Date Bonus
17 weeks off annually
No OB, Pediatrics, or Trauma
Annual case count approximately 18,500
Dedicated Cardiac Team
No in-house call; physicians rotate back-up call, call-back is rare
Cardiac capability desired but not required
Responsibilities
Develop a qualified anesthesia care team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs.
Supervise departmental staff and provide ongoing evaluation of anesthesia skills and job performance.
Foster a positive collaborative work environment and manage relationships with surgeons, the medical staff, administration, OR leadership, and the anesthesia team.
Assist the facility and provide leadership in managing Perioperative Services.
Establish and maintain policies and procedures relevant to anesthesia care, including follow-up care and integrating best practices and clinical standards into departmental practice.
