This position is with the PE Battery Team and they're looking for an Seibi Technician to support client's production engineering vehicle manufacturing engineering battery pack assembly group's equipment. Ideal candidate should have 3+ technical experience of being/worked as a Seibi Technician with the required skills.Top 3 SkillsPLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or Siemens Self-motivated individual Flexible to work with different teams, travel and overtimeLocationTMMI, 4000 Tulip Tree Drive, Princeton, IN 47670; 100% on-siteDuration12 months (possible extension)Working HoursEither 7 AM to 4 PM OR 8 AM to 5 PM local time.TravelAt most 50% during peak times; Candidates should be available to travel immediately, the travel will be domestically in US, to Canada, Mexico and possibly to Japan. Candidates will be travelling at least for a week to 2 weeks OR at most month. Overtime: 25%; Candidates should be willing to work little extra during weekdays and should be comfortable to work over weekends as per the project needs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: Candidates should have their own Steel Toe Shoes and Safety Glasses once they start working on this position, rest will be provided by Client.What You'll Be DoingSupport client's production engineering vehicle manufacturing engineering battery pack assembly group's equipment development with NAMCs & Global teamsSupport equipment specification development to confirm standards complianceSupport equipment machine risk assessment development and confirmation activitiesComplete Seibi equipment checks for Safety, Electrical & Mechanical design confirmationsConfirm equipment, conveyor & logistics hardware for individual cell & zone safety interlocksSupport Seibi equipment confirmations at vendor buy-off trials & larger zone trialsSupport equipment adjustment to ensure Safety, Quality & Productivity target achievementEngage in travel to vendors & NAMCs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico & Japan.What You Will Bring2 Year associate's degree in technical field, completion of a trade school, or 3+ Years relevant technical experience2 Years Experience with PLC programming for Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron or SiemensAbility to read mechanical/electrical drawings.Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).Ability & willingness to work up to 25% overtime, possibly including 12-hours shifts with likelihood of significant weekend & holiday workAbility & willingness to travel up to 50% at peak times, both domestically & internationally.RequirementsExperience with manufacturing equipment procurement, installation and confirmationExperience with Kawasaki or Fanuc Industrial Robots for Part Transfer or Auto-TighteningExperience with Keyence or other Vision System setup and/or integrationExperience with AMRs &/or AGVs and AGV Traffic Control systems.Location(Ann Arbor, MI)DisclaimerKyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
