Job description
Job Title: Selector I_DIFF
Location: Norcross, GA 30071
Duration: 6+ Months
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday: 5PM Start and will finish once all tasks have been completed. Goal is to end by 1:30AM, but OT is mandatory if all collective job tasks are not completed by 1:30AM.
Interviews: Group Interviews will be done on Tuesdays at 5 PM. DO not send candidates out to interviews unless confirmed by Flex staff.
Must Have: Steel Toe Boot meeting these requirements
A minimum of 5" high ankle support
Non-slip soles
Protective safety toe, meeting ASTM F standard
Day-to-Day Duties: Order selecting of items from pick slots using Voice pick equipment.
Staging pallets in proper staging lane on shipping dock.
Loading merchandise onto trailer for outbound shipment.
Ability to safely operate industrial powered equipment (i.e., ride on electric pallet jack, cherry picker, etc.) in high traffic fast-paced environment.
Perform all daily task with focus following established process and attention to details.
Essential Duties: Order select items from pick slots per pick ticket
Stage outbound palletized units in appropriate staging area
Load merchandise onto correct trailer for outbound delivery
Move items from reserve locations to pick slot locations when necessary
Performs housekeeping duties as assigned
Other job tasks as assigned
Experience & Responsibilities: 0-3 Years of Experience.
Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
Selecting the correct products from warehouse racking.
Labeling product using SOS label technology.
Palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned SOS unit to create labels.
Correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.).
Stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
Stretch-wraps product on loading dock.
Maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment.
Performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Must follow Client's Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Client and by AIB (American Institute of Baking).
This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends.
Essential Skills: Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard.
Working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment.
Meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals.
Developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs regularly. Reports to Night Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.
