SelectorLocation: Winchester, IN, US, 47394 Job ID: 61812The Selector inspects and packs glass containers on production lines.Responsibilities:Reselect and/or replace ware as requiredVisually inspect glass containers for defects to ensure conformance to specificationsInspect cartons and interiors for damage and pack acceptable ware into specified shipping containersDiscard defective ware into cullet conveyor or proper receptacle for removalUnjam carton and ware conveyor systems equipment and case packers to maintain the flow of productReport defects and machine malfunctions to Auditors and SupervisorMaintain safety through good housekeeping and good work methodsHousekeepingOther production duties as assignedMinimum skills / qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentEffective communication skillsMust be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to lift forty (40) poundsPreferred skills / qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of specialized inspection methods including gauging and testing equipmentStable work historyCompensation: The starting pay rate for this role is $xx.xx per hour.
