Semi-Skilled Refrigeration Helper

HireQuest is seeking two semi-skilled refrigeration helpers to assist skilled technicians with the installation of refrigeration piping. This position is ideal for individuals with construction, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical experience who are comfortable working with tools and supporting a skilled crew. The role includes assisting the skilled workers by transporting materials, preparing work areas, and providing hands-on support throughout the installation process.

Job duties include assisting skilled technicians with refrigeration piping installation, transporting tools, materials, and supplies throughout the jobsite, helping measure, cut, and stage materials as directed, loading and unloading equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area, following instructions from lead installers and supervisors, observing and following all jobsite safety requirements.

Requirements include previous construction, warehouse, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing experience preferred, ability to safely use basic hand tools, reliable transportation and punctual attendance, ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions, strong work ethic and willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday start 7:00 AM. Full-time hours available. PPE required: steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves. All required PPE must be worn on site. Competitive pay based on experience.
