We're seeking a detail-oriented Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician to support wafer fabrication processes within a highly advanced cleanroom environment. If you have experience working with semiconductors, cleanrooms, optics, microscopy, or precision manufacturing, this is your opportunity to grow your career while working with cutting-edge equipment and processes.LOCATION: Charlotte, NC 28262POSITION: Right to HireSCHEDULE: 8AM - 5PMPAY RATE: $22.50/hourSHIFT: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PMBENEFITS: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Telehealth, Prescription Drug Discount etc.What You'll DoAs part of our manufacturing team, you'll help process semiconductor wafers through key stages of production while maintaining the highest quality standards.Process 200mm wafers through Lithography, Deposition, and Etch processesOperate and monitor production equipment used in semiconductor manufacturingUtilize metrology equipment and analyze measurement data to ensure product qualityMaintain detailed production records, SPC charts, and equipment data logsWork within an ISO Class 4 cleanroom environment while following established 5S practicesFollow cleanroom protocols and safely handle chemicals as requiredCoordinate and schedule work-in-process (WIP) to support production and engineering prioritiesFollow procedures and instructions provided through both paper and digital travelersInspect products and appropriately disposition nonconforming materialSupport senior technicians and engineers in maintaining efficient manufacturing operationsAt advanced skill levels, technicians may also perform:Equipment setup and calibrationRoutine preventative maintenance activitiesProcess troubleshooting and optimization supportRequired Qualifications1-2 years of related manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, or technical production experienceStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityEffective communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentStrong organizational, planning, and time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to take initiativeComfortable standing for 3-5 hours or sitting for 4-8 hours during a shiftAbility to lift up to 30 poundsGood manual dexterity and steady hands for precision workAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishProficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applicationsNice to HaveCleanroom experienceSemiconductor manufacturing experienceMicroscope operationOptics experienceMetrology equipment experienceExport Compliance RequirementApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.Pre-Employment Screening: Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening based on local, state and federal laws in your region.
