Account Manager For Strategic Customer In Game IndustryAWS is looking for an experienced Account Manager to support a strategic customer and recognized market leader in the game industry with primary location in Los Angeles (with key stakeholders spread throughout the US, EU, and APAC). This customer sits at the intersection of game development, distribution, and player engagement, and operates with significant technical depth and scale. This role includes regular in-person engagement with diverse customer stakeholders (tech functions and business, including C-Suite). To be effective in this position, the ideal candidate will be based in the Los Angeles area and able to meet onsite as needed. The customer for this territory are complex and often favor highly customized or alternative approaches to infrastructure. Success in this role requires a consultative mindset, technical fluency, and a long-term approach to relationship building. You will need to navigate dynamic product environments, influence across levels, and earn trust with both engineering and business leaders. Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning is increasingly important, as our customers explore how AI can support personalized player experiences, real-time operations, and advanced content creation.Key job responsibilities include:Building a competitive growth plan based on customer outcomesEstablishing strong multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, and executive functionsPartnering with AWS technical and non-technical resourcesSalesforce & Anaplan forecastingMonthly business reportingAuthoring 2x/year account plans and quarterly business reviewsPreferred Qualifications:Background working with companies in gaming, consumer apps, or digital mediaFamiliarity with AI and ML technologies and their use in real-time or player-centric applicationsExperience managing long-cycle opportunities with incremental growthA passion for games and an appreciation for the creative and technical effort behind themAbout the team:This role is part of the Strategic Games Team at AWS, focused on the market makers of the Games Industry. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
