Role Description
The Senior Account Manager Business Sales is a full-time, hybrid role based in Eugene, OR, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business customers, serving as a trusted advisor on Verizon Business solutions. Day-to-day activities include identifying new sales opportunities, conducting customer needs assessments, presenting tailored proposals, and negotiating contracts. The Senior Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams such as solutions engineers and customer support to ensure successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction. The role also involves tracking account performance, preparing sales forecasts, maintaining accurate CRM records, and participating in local market and industry events to strengthen customer relationships and expand business.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
Strong skills in relationship building, customer engagement, and consultative selling to business clients.
Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into effective solutions using network, cloud, and security services.
Comfort with sales tools and CRM platforms, as well as basic proficiency in productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at multiple organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience with regional markets in or around Eugene, OR, and a valid authorization to work in the United States.
