We hire motivated, self-directed professionals who desire to give back to their communities.About the RoleAssisting producer and marketing as needed in writing new and renewal accountsVerifying that all policies are bound with insurance companies in writing prior to or on the effective date of the policyBilling or binder billing all policies and renewals prior to or on the effective date of the policyChecking new business and renewal policies against applications and bindersKeeping client and policy information in vision up to date according to office proceduresContacting insured as needed for collecting outstanding balances according to office proceduresWorking with customer service representatives to ensure that all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates and other customer requests are handled in an accurate and timely manner according to the office proceduresKeeping P & C license active and increasing insurance knowledge by attending continuing education classesSkills and experience you'll need:A successful candidate will have an active P&C license and a minimum of five years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, as well as the following:Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)Bonus points if you have:Previous working knowledge of Insurance Agency Management software programs, preferably Applied software Epic.Industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR are a plus.What we offer:Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, vision, dental, and Employee Assistance ProgramPaid time off to include holidays, PTO, sick leave, and bereavementProfit SharingContinuing education opportunities401K & Employer MatchingEmployee discountsIdentity theft protectionTuition ReimbursementPaid Training OpportunitiesPaid Parental LeaveWellness PlanVolunteer OpportunitiesServing Others.
