Job Description
n· Analyze fluctuations in Corporate Overhead and P&L reports from budget
n· Performs full-cycle accounting duties; month-end and year-end close, and cross-functionally working with other groups
n· Prepares accruals, prepaid schedules, reclassifications, analysis; prepares and posts Journal entries to General Ledger as needed
n· Assists with fixed assets and ensures capitalization and depreciation is accurate and complete across a wide range of international companies.
n· Track CIP projects and Capitalization of assets using Project Accounting
n· Properly recording the cost of tangible and intangible fixed assets, and accounting for the disposal of fixed assets.
n· Maintenance of Fixed Asset sub-ledger and monthly depreciation entries
n· Accounting for corporate shared services costs and allocations to subsidiaries.
n· Detailed account analysis and reconciliation for inter-company accounts to include international and multi-currency transactions
n· Resolves account discrepancies by researching, verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions;
n· Efficiently communicates and works with internal departments to obtain information as required
n· Required to maintain functions in accordance with finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standards
n· Keeps current any departmental check list or procedures
n· Documenting new business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
n· Key liaison with internal and external audit reviews, and other special projects

nSkills and Requirements
nBachelor's Degree in Accounting
n5+ years of Corporate Accounting experience
nExperience with journal entries, fixed asset, allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals
nStrong Excel
nExperience with Accounting Software packages Masters Degree
nCPA
nExperience with Infinium System or Workday
