Senior Accountant, Consolidations | Fairfield County, CT
I’m working with a fast-growing, global organization that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its corporate consolidations team. The company has a significant international footprint, continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions, and offers strong exposure to a complex, multi-entity accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
Prepare consolidation, elimination, and intercompany journal entries
Handle accounting across multiple entities and currencies
Assist with consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
Support accounting integration for newly acquired businesses
Assist with interim and year-end audits
Work extensively within ERP and consolidation systems
Help improve and automate accounting and reporting processes
Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong US GAAP knowledge
Consolidations and/or multi-entity accounting experience
Experience within a mid-sized or large corporate accounting environment
Strong ERP, consolidation system, and Excel skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional services, construction, or another multi-entity environment is a plus
CPA preferred, but not required
