Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Status: Year-Round Full-Time
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,653.85 to $2,915.38 biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant position is a full-time, year-round position at Copper Mountain. The accountant administers and coordinates general ledger transactions to maintain an accurate balance sheet and ensure truthful financial reporting. The accountant also works with Powdr Corp. accounting to make certain that Copper Mountain is in compliance with regard to government and other financial regulations within the privately owned company.
Basic Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to visually review written and electronic documents
Intermediate level skier or snowboarder (or willingness to learn)
Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
4-year accounting or finance degree required
3-5 years' prior accounting experience.
2+ years' experience with reconciling cash, cash equivalents & deferred revenue
Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Experience and Special Skills: Proficient in use of computers to include Excel, Word, and Database Management software programs. Ability to quickly learn new applications.
Active CPA License or actively pursuing the CPA Licensure a plus
Master's degree in accounting or finance a plus
Prior NetSuite experience preferred.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills as needed.
