Senior Accountant
Well-established company is looking to build out their accounting team due to upcoming growth. Organization is highly recognized for its culture and environment and offers a lot of career advancement opportunities.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including general ledger account reconciliations
Develops forecasts using multiple assumptions
Reconciles bank statements
Prepare journal entries for monthly close
Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards.
Assists with accounting-related projects and accounting research on an as-needed basis
Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions
Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders
Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs
Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in accounting
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
Public accounting experience preferred but not required
