Job Title: Senior Accountant

Looking for a career in the Craft Beverage Industry? Wilding Brands is expanding its team and is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position of Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant has overall responsibility for daily accounting of transactions and is responsible for performing the month end close in an accurate and timely manner. The position is full-time, on-site and will be offered a competitive compensation package including health insurance, company matched 401(k) and paid time off. Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including cash receipts and disbursements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accruals, inventory, fixed assets and revenue recognition for multiple entities
Manage purchasing policies and procedures
Prepare consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis
Enforce standard accounting policies and procedures of the organization
Perform an efficient month-end close process
Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
Calculate variances from the budget and identify and analyze significant differences
Prepare sales and use tax returns for applicable jurisdictions
Track and report key financial metrics
Assist CPA firm with annual review of financial statements
Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Requirements:
Strong operational accounting skills, financial skills and GAAP knowledge
Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, enhance and implement accounting/finance policies, procedures and controls
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to commute to our Headquarters location in Lafayette
Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
Strong work ethic and proactive attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Entrepreneurial personality
Experience with Quickbooks is highly desired
Experience with inventory management software is highly desired
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Benefits/Compensation:
Estimated salary range: $95,000 - $110,000 DOE
