Senior Accountant - Lawrence, MA Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role will work closely with finance leadership to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records.
Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close.
Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Maintain accounting documentation and support audits.
Monitor account activity and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal teams on accounting-related matters.
Assist with compliance and other ad hoc accounting projects.
Qualifications 7+ years of accounting experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Strong accounting systems experience required.
Grant accounting experience preferred.
