Senior Accountant
Compensation: Up to $110,000 + Excellent Benefits | 6% 401(k) Match
Our client, a leading publicly traded manufacturing company , is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team. Senior Accountant Responsibilities Lead and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements .
Perform consolidation accounting across multiple entities and business units.
Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate findings to leadership.
Support the preparation of financial reporting for a publicly traded organization in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency .
Participate in accounting projects focused on automation, process improvement, and system enhancements .
Partner with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial performance.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
Experience with consolidations or multi-entity accounting preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
