Senior Accountant
$65k-$80k
Dayton, OH | On-site
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger accounting, and financial reconciliations. The ideal Senior Accountant is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant
Manage month-end close (MEC) activities and journal entries.
Prepare balance sheet and inventory reconciliations .
Handle intercompany accounting and account reconciliations.
The Senior Accountant will maintain fixed asset schedules and record accruals .
Support general ledger accuracy and financial reporting.
Identify discrepancies and assist with process improvements.
Requirements of Senior Accountant
5+ years of accounting experience .
Strong GL and month-end close experience.
Experience with balance sheet and inventory reconciliations .
The Senior Accountant must have strong Excel skills .
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Preferred
Manufacturing or distribution accounting experience .
