Job description
We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a growing, technology-forward accounting and advisory firm in New York City. This role will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of small businesses, startups, and private equity-backed companies, including month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and client reporting. The ideal candidate will come from public accounting, outsourced accounting, or a CAS environment and be comfortable working directly with clients. Strong QuickBooks Online experience and a solid accounting foundation are important. The firm is also looking for someone who is genuinely interested in AI, automation, and using technology to improve accounting workflows. This is a strong opportunity for an accountant who wants to grow with a modern, expanding firm. The ideal Senior Accountant will have at least 5 years' experience in public accounting, strong QuickBooks skills, and exposure to SMB's. CPA is strongly preferred, will consider parts passed with intent to finish.
