Senior Accountant
Location: Dartmouth, MA 02747
Schedule: Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
CFS is partnering with an established financial services organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Support internal and external audit requests
Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate across departments
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Financial services, banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills
CPA or CPA-track preferred
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits Salary range of $90,000 - $115,000
