Job description
Summary
Torque Classic Cars is a small locally owned and operated vintage auto restoration shop in West Palm Beach. The Senior Accountant/Office Manager is responsible for accounting and financial reporting, as well as supporting the Torque Classic Cars operations department with business administration.
Essential Functions
Act as business knowledgeable advisor for all accounting/bookkeeping matters to the COO.
Bookkeeping, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash applications, accounts payable, etc.
Maintain the general ledger, including setting up GL accounts.
Financial Statement Preparation.
Sales Tax Reporting.
Implement and maintain inventory management system.
Forcasting.
Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
Perform other accounting and operational duties/projects as requested by the COO.
Required Competencies and Experience
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Quickbooks experience a must.
Computer proficiency.
Professionalism, Integrity and Ethics.
Strong attention to detail.
3+ years Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
