Job description
We are working with the Controller of a fast-growing manufacturer and supplier based in Passaic County, NJ. They are looking to add a dynamic Senior Accountant to their organization. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including a generous 401k and ESOP plan!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and month-end close activities
Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for Controller review
Prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for management review
Review job cost reports for completeness, accuracy, and proper cost allocation
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
4+ years of Accounting experience within Construction, Manufacturing, or Home Service
Exposure to Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and working knowledge of ERP systems
COMPENSATION:
$95,000 - $105,000 + discretionary bonus
