Description
Job Description Perform all aspects of accounting work, recording transactions, reconciling and other tasks. We are searching for an experienced accountant that has worked in a mid to large size company with corporate experience. You'll need to be a great communicator and possess the knowledge to get the job done. You will represent Prisma every day with a positive attitude. Job Responsibilities:
Complete complex reconciliations
Assist with month-end close process
Generate and record journal entries
Work with A/P on issues of weekly vendor checks
Review A/P backup documentation for signature
Daily Bank Reconciliation
Assist in AR Collections
Daily Cash Application
Assist with annual audit
Maintain Fixed Assets
Streamline accounting processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required
A minimum of 5-8+ years' experience in accounting is required in a mid to large size company
A high proficiency in Excel, including working with and troubleshooting macros required
Experience with accounting software systems
Must have good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Must possess a high attention to detail and be a proven multi-tasker
Detail oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
