nJob purpose

nThis position is intended to perform the necessary Finance & Accounting activities in their focusarea with minimal management oversight & a high degree of independence. Core responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to month end closing entries, account reconciliation & analysis, processmanagement & improvement and ad-hoc assignments in support of the Director Finance &Accounting or VP Finance.

nJob Description

nDuties and responsibilities

nnnAssist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactionsare in accordance with GAAP, JSOX, and internal policies and procedures are followed

n

nnPrepare monthly journal entries and support, in line with communicated closing schedule

n

nnPrepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analysis

n

nnAssist with analyzing financial statements and provide recommendations to improvebusiness performance or efficiency

n

nnPrepare documentation & support internal and external audit requirements as needed

n

nnCollaborate cross-functionally to manage & improve financial, business & internal controlprocesses on a continuous basis

n

nnPerform ad-hoc assignments or special project work for the Director Finance &Accounting or the VP Finance

n

nnComply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medicaldevice regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all otherapplicable laws, regulations, and standards

n

n nQualifications

nnnBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

n

nn6+ years of Finance & Accounting experience

n

nnAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

n

nnStrong organization and analytical skills.

n

nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

n

nnExcellent MS Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.

n

nnMust be flexible to work late hours if needed.

n nPhysical requirements

nThe position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed

ncapabilities:

nnnThe ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.

n

nnThe ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.

n

nnThe ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.

n

nnThe ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

n

nnClose Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

n

n nTravel

nnOccasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
