Senior Accountant

$85,000 - $95,000 + bonus! Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing and highly respected accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants meaningful exposure to the financial operations of a successful manufacturing organization.
The Senior Accountant will play an important role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with the Controller and broader leadership team.

Responsibilities Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting
Analyze inventory, manufacturing costs, and variances
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist with fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Work closely with operations and other departments throughout the organization
Assist with audit preparation and other special projects as needed
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
Experience with an ERP system preferred
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
