Job description

At a glance:
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university
Three (3) to five (5) years of finance/accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive experience within an ERP database or similar accounting system
Valid Virginia Driver's License
Preferred: Previous government finance experience and knowledge of municipal finance laws and regulations
Advanced knowledge of accounting/auditing theory, GAAP, and GASB statements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
