Job description
Senior Accounting Analyst
Carolina PRG is partnering with a multimillion-dollar manufacturer that is part of a billion-dollar global company to find a Senior Accounting Analyst. This role will support accurate financial reporting, analyze manufacturing results, and work closely with the accounting and operations teams.
Responsibilities
Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Analyze inventory, production costs, and operating expenses; investigate variances and explain findings.
Partner with plant and finance teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
Prepare recurring reports and identify trends or discrepancies that need attention.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects.
Help strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
At least three years of accounting or financial analysis experience; manufacturing experience is required.
Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system (SAP/4Hanna).
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
