A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist in Boise, ID, or San Jose, CA. The Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

This is 100% in office M-F 8-5pm. Candidates must be local to either Boise, ID or San Jose, CA.
Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist Compensation
Pay:
$40–$45 per hour, based on experience
Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days
401(k) with company match available after 1 year, subject to eligibility dates
Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist Highlights
12-month consulting engagement with potential for extension
100% onsite in Boise, ID, or San Jose, CA. Boise is strongly preferred.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Must be flexible to attend one weekly meeting that may take place in the late afternoon or evening to collaborate with international teams
Opportunity to support a global Accounts Payable transformation initiative implementing Agentic AI workflows across Procure-to-Pay processes
Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist Responsibilities
Represent Accounts Payable Operations throughout the transformation lifecycle, including discovery, process validation, testing, deployment readiness, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization
Participate in country discovery workshops and process reviews to document current-state AP workflows, controls, approval processes, and exception handling
Review and validate business requirements, process design documents, process flows, and operating procedures to ensure solutions meet AP business needs
Identify country-specific operational, regulatory, compliance, and process requirements
Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing scenarios and business test scripts based on real-world AP activities
Validate system outputs and AI-generated results against business requirements, identify process gaps and defects, and support issue resolution and retesting
Support deployment planning, cutover activities, go-live readiness, and the transition to ongoing AP operations
Monitor operational issues, workflow effectiveness, user adoption, and exception trends during hypercare and stabilization
Document processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support change management and adoption of new workflows
Collaborate with AP teams, project stakeholders, and technology partners across global locations
Support KPI reporting, continuous improvement, and the adoption of intelligent automation and AI-enabled finance capabilities
Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist Requirements
Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience
SAP and Ariba experience required
Solid understanding of procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations
Senior Accounts Payable Transformation Specialist Preferred Qualifications
Change management experience, particularly experience transitioning to new software, implementing new processes, or moving from one system to another
Adaptability and the ability to adjust to changing processes and systems
SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus for potential future projects but is not required for this role
