Job description
Senior AI/ML Engineer Location: St. Louis, MO Note: Onsite role and in-person interview is mandatory
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong Python and hands-on LLM experience to build AI agents and RAG solutions for production applications.
Key Skills:
10+ years of software development experience with strong Python
2+ years of hands-on LLM/Generative AI development
Strong experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph
Experience building RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and answer generation
Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs, tool calling, and streaming
Strong Async Python experience with asyncio, FastAPI, and httpx
Good understanding of prompt engineering and structured JSON responses
Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
Experience building reliable applications with retry, error handling, logging, and monitoring
Good to Have:
Multi-agent AI systems and LangGraph StateGraph
WebSocket / SSE Langfuse or other LLM observability tools
Vector databases such as Pinecone, OpenSearch, or pgvector
Multimodal/vision AI
AWS services such as EKS, Aurora, IAM, and SSM
Telecom or field-service experience
