This person develops technical and commercial proposals for medium-voltage power distribution equipment, helping win projects in data centers, utilities, industrial facilities, and large construction projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Review customer specifications, drawings, and electrical requirements.
Design power distribution solutions using Siemens GIS and medium-voltage switchgear products.
Create single-line diagrams, layouts, and proposal documents.
Work with vendors to source equipment such as transformers, battery systems, controls, and related electrical equipment.
Evaluate vendor quotes and recommend the best technical solution.
Build project cost estimates and pricing models.
Support sales teams during customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
Help transfer awarded projects from the proposal stage to execution.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of medium-voltage power distribution equipment such as switchgear and transformers.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards. xhqgsiq
