You'll perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly tasks while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork. Every product you help build contributes to delivering reliable solutions customers depend on every day.This is more than repetitive production work. You'll be part of a collaborative manufacturing team where attention to detail, reliability, and craftsmanship matter. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to on-time delivery goals, continuous improvement efforts, and a safe, organized workplace.What You'll Be DoingAssemble and test meters, regulators, and related componentsPerform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operationsFollow work instructions, production standards, and established assembly sequencesSupport on-time delivery by working effectively as part of the production teamMaintain quality standards throughout the assembly processOperate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with safety guidelines and shop proceduresKeep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-readyParticipate in 5S initiatives and continuous improvement activitiesAttend and contribute to safety meetings and training activitiesAssist with inventory counts and material verification as neededWork collaboratively with team members across the manufacturing floorPerform other manufacturing and production duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experienceExperience using basic hand tools and assembly equipmentExperience reading and using a tape measureMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to follow written work instructions and proceduresAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively as part of a teamDependable work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to stand, move, and perform assembly tasks throughout the workdayFamiliarity with safety procedures and quality standards in a manufacturing environmentExperience participating in continuous improvement or 5S initiativesWhat We OfferCompetitive pay: $20.00 – $ 22.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and locationMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company contributionsPaid time off and company holidaysCareer development and advancement opportunitiesEmployee recognition programsA collaborative team environment where your contributions matterJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
