Senior Associate Attorney: Construction & Insurance DefenseOur practice represents businesses, insurers, contractors, and commercial clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. While this position will have a strong emphasis on construction litigation and premises liability defense, we are also interested in speaking with attorneys who have a solid background in insurance defense and are looking to expand their practice.What You'll Handle:1900 Billable hour expectation.Hybrid work environment.Construction defect and construction-related litigationPremises liability defenseGeneral liability and personal injury defenseInsurance defense matters involving bodily injury and property damage claimsComplex civil litigation from inception through trial or resolutionResponsibilities include drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending court appearances, participating in mediations, communicating directly with clients and insurance carriers, and preparing cases for trial.Interested Candidates Should Have:JD and licensed to practice in IL.Construction litigation or premises liability defense experience strongly preferredAttorneys with broader insurance defense experience are encouraged to applyStrong writing, analytical, and courtroom skillsAbility to independently manage an active litigation caseloadTrial experience is a plusAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
