Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team in Burbank, CA. Candidates must be California State Barred and reside in Northern California.
Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a docket of cases to resolution
Depositions: Preparing client for deposition
Attending depositions
Invoicing depositions
Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negotiations and moving matters towards resolution
Responding to incoming emails and phone calls
Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
Team player: bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
Participation in team events during work and after work hours
Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
Qualifications
3+ years of Workers' Compensation experience
Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
Doctor’s deposition experience (preferred)
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
