Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients complementary primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Investment Operations team, focusing on private debt asset onboarding and data quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and interpret credit agreements, note purchase agreements, and related legal documentation for operational setup.
Set up new private debt investments within internal systems and downstream platforms.
Capture and maintain key economic and reference terms for private debt instruments.
Collaborate with Compliance to review structure charts and maintain legal entity information.
Leverage DealCloud and AlphaStream for investment onboarding and data maintenance.
Coordinate with investment professionals and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
Perform quality control reviews of newly onboarded assets and document-driven changes.
Develop and maintain operating procedures, data standards, and control checklists.
Work with technology and data teams to improve onboarding workflows and integrations.
Support reconciliation and remediation efforts across systems.
Participate in project management and data governance workstreams.
Produce management reporting and metrics related to private debt assets.
Help train junior team members and offshore resources on document interpretation and setup standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment operations or asset data management.
Direct experience with private debt, bank loans, or note investments.
Hands-on experience with DealCloud, AlphaStream, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of private debt instrument structures and data attributes.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reconciliations.
Compensation:
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000, Plus Bonus
