nThe Difference You Make:
nAs a Senior Associate, Retail Design & Experience , you will play a critical role in shaping and executing Santander's retail experience strategy across the U.S. branch network. You will support the development and delivery of new branch formats and renovation programs, ensuring our physical locations deliver a consistent, customer-centered, and operationally effective experience aligned to Santander's omni-channel strategy.
nRetail Experience & Format Execution
nnnSupport end-to-end execution of retail experience and format initiatives across the physical network
n
nnSupport design development and implementation for new builds and renovations
n
nnMaintain visibility into project scope, timelines, risks, decisions, and dependencies
n
nnEnsure retail formats and customer journeys are consistently implemented across markets
n
n nDesign Development & Standards
nnnSupport space design, finish standards, furniture selection, and customer experience consistency
n
nnMaintain and evolve design standards, playbooks, prototypes, and implementation guidance
n
nnReview design packages for alignment to brand, experience standards, and operational requirements
n
nnContribute to continuous improvement of design standards based on pilot learnings and rollout feedback
n
n nVendor & Partner Management
nnnCoordinate with architecture/design firms, agencies, and contractors to ensure high-quality deliverables
n
nnSupport vendor meeting cadence, documentation, follow-ups, and decision tracking
n
nnEnsure design quality, consistency, and completeness across projects
n
n nCross-Functional Delivery
nnnPartner with Network Planning, Real Estate/Delivery, Construction, Marketing, and Operations
n
nnTranslate experience strategy into buildable solutions meeting cost, schedule, and implementation needs
n
nnDrive alignment and progress across a matrixed organization
n
n nExecutive Storytelling & Communication
nnnCreate executive-ready presentations to communicate concepts, progress, and recommendations
n
nnCompile and communicate information aligned to governance processes
n
nnConduct research and benchmarking on retail experience trends and digital + physical integration
n
n nWhat You Bring:
nnnBachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or equivalent experience)
n
nn9+ years of relevant experience in financial services, retail, luxury retail, hospitality, or multi-site commercial design environments
n
nnAbility to read and review architectural construction drawings and design documentation
n
nnStrong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
n
nnStrong communication skills (visual, verbal, written) with ability to clearly convey design intent
n
nnProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
n
nnAbility to collaborate across local and global teams and influence without direct authority
n
nnDemonstrated ownership, urgency, and accountability, with sound judgment on escalation
n
n nCertifications:
nnBachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (required)
n nIt Would Be Nice For You to Have:
nnnExperience working with an in-house design team, financial services firm preferred
n
nnStrong background in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop); basic 3D modeling/rendering a plus
n
nnKnowledge of finish and furniture vendors and experience supporting multi-site rollout programs
n
nnStrong knowledge of building codes and ADA compliance
n
nnExperience at the intersection of digital and physical customer experience
n
nnExperience within complex global organizations and cross-functional delivery models
n

nnnThis role supports projects through all phases including conceptual planning, programming, engineering, and construction

nWhat Else You Need To Know:
nThe base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

n$90,000.00 USD
nMaximum:
n$155,000.00 USD
