Job description
Rivian is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer for Equipment Engineering in Normal, IL. This role focuses on heavy PLC programming and controls for high-volume production, covering Paint Shop, Material Flow, Body Shop, Stamping, Drive Unit/Inverter, Battery, and General Assembly areas.
You will troubleshoot, upgrade, and configure PLCs/HMIs, implement MES logic, and ensure ANSI/RIA15.06 and OSHA compliant safety systems. Collaboration with engineers and training of teams is expected.
