Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. One day a week in office which will be assigned upon start. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer up to 6 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.Primary Responsibilities:Performs all tasks of a Senior Billing Representative or a Senior Customer Service RepresentativeSubmit claims electronically to the clearinghouseBased on department needs, monitors one of the following: back-end operations or functions, front end operations or functions, daily production tracking, and/or patient phones for coverage, quality, reports and call logsTrains new employees and completes other trainings throughout the yearCommunicate with superiors, peers, employees, internal and external customers, and others, as appropriate, on regular basis, assuring proper flow of informationAssists in documenting standard operating procedures and business rules for the departmentAssists in resolving problems relating to all areas of Patient/Third Party billings and missing informationResponds to patient complaints and escalated issues to ensure the appropriate action for resolution occursFacilitates individual and small group meetingsMaintains current knowledge of billing requirements and system practiceYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceMust be 18 years of age OR older1+ years of experience in patient, client, or third-party insurance billingWork experience in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.
