Sr Billing SpecialistHERS Advisors has partnered with a successful Labor & Employment law firm who has an immediate need for a Sr Billing Specialist to work in their West Los Angeles, CA office (hybrid). The Sr Billing Specialist will be responsible for handling all aspects of legal billing, including generating, distributing, tracking, and editing prebills, finalizing invoices, and sending final invoices to clients, including electronic LEDES files. The department has a great reputation, and employees have long tenure with the firm!Responsibilities For Sr Billing Specialist:Generate, distribute, and track prebills in a timely mannerReview and edit prebills to ensure accuracy before finalizing invoicesFinalize invoices using Aderant Expert software, ensuring compliance with firm billing guidelinesDistribute finalized invoices to clients via electronic means, LEDE files, or USPS as requiredProvide support in cash deposits and assist with year-end collections.Collaborate closely with the accounting team to streamline billing processes and enhance efficiency.Requirements For Sr Billing Specialist:4+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm setting is requiredProficiency in using Aderant Expert is requiredFamiliarity with electronic billing formats, including LEDE filesExperience in handling cash deposits and collections is preferredKnowledge of state and federal billing compliance regulationsSalary range: 80-100k.
