Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting ManagerBenefits: Paid time off, Vision insurance, 401(k) matching, Dental insuranceFull-Time | In-Person | Idaho Falls, ID Compensation: $60,000+ DOEWe are a locally owned group of established construction, remodeling, and restoration businesses looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager. This is not simply a transaction-entry bookkeeping position. We need someone who takes ownership of the financial information of our companies and ensures leadership has accurate, current financial visibility every week.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books in QuickBooksManage accounting across multiple companiesAccounts payable and accounts receivableBank and credit-card reconciliationsConstruction job costingCustomer deposits and committed fundsVendor and subcontractor balancesCash-flow reportingCredit-card and loan trackingWeekly financial scorecardsMonthly P&L and Balance Sheet preparationPayroll/accounting coordination1099 and year-end preparationCoordinate with ownership, management, and CPAA Critical Part of This Role Every Monday, leadership should have an accurate picture of:Bank balancesAvailable/uncommitted cashAccounts receivable and agingAccounts payable and agingCredit-card balances and upcoming paymentsMajor cash commitmentsRevenue and gross-profit performanceFinancial issues requiring management attentionWe don't want to discover financial problems several weeks after they occur. This position helps us identify them early.
