Senior Caregiver (Dementia Experience Preferred) - Edmond, OK, USAAt Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma, we are committed to providing exceptional in-home care services that match seniors who want to help others with seniors who need assistance. As a Senior Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, with a focus on individuals with dementia.We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team in Norman, OK. As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a part-time opportunity that offers the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors while also balancing your personal schedule.Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one care and support to clients with dementia, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and groomingAssist with medication management and administrationPrepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding and hydrationEncourage socialization and engagement through activities and conversationsMaintain accurate records of client care and progressCollaborate with other care team members to ensure comprehensive careRequired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working with seniors, preferably in a dementia care settingAbility to lift, bend, and transfer clients as neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)What We Offer:Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniorsPart-time schedule with flexible hoursOpportunity to work with a dedicated and compassionate teamOngoing training and support to enhance your skills and knowledgeIf you are passionate about supporting seniors and have a heart for providing exceptional care, apply now to join our team!
