Job description
Senior CaregiverHeritage Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Senior Caregiver in the Albuquerque, NM area to provide high-quality in-home care to clients. Our caregivers make a meaningful difference every day by helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life in their homes through support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily care needs.Key Responsibilities:Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eatingFollow individualized care plans and delegated care instructionsProvide mobility assistance, including transfers and positioning from bed, chair, or wheelchairSupport medication reminders and care plan instructions per agency guidelinesAssist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environmentProvide companionship, emotional support, and social engagementEscort or transport clients to appointments or errands as neededObserve, document, and report changes in client condition to the clinical teamQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of agePrevious caregiving experience preferredAbility to work independently and follow care plans accuratelyStrong communication and observational skillsMust have a current valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insuranceMust live in Albuquerque, NM or surrounding areasSchedule:Full-time positionSchedule may include weekdays, weekends, and varied shifts based on client needsBenefits:Full-time benefits packageCompetitive wagesOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative work environmentWhy Join Us?At Heritage Home Healthcare, we are committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care that helps individuals maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.
