Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contribute:A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role:Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.Participate in quality and performance improvement activities, as assigned.Monitors employees for compliance to all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.Consults with supervisor when non-compliance is observed.Maintains open communication with co-workers and uses appropriate chain of command regarding issues.Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.Documents patient care given.Administers injections, vaccines and medications and other related tasks as instructed by physician.Requests, obtains and reviews all records, test and lab results at least one day prior to the visit.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.Maintains the cleanliness of the examination areas.Cleans and sterilizes instruments.Retrieves and returns telephone calls to patients in a timely manner and relay information provided by physicians.Shift: Nights 3x12s – 7:00PM-7:00AMWhat we're looking for:Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required; Graduate of accredited medical assistance program or equivalent RequiredLicense: CCMA, CMA or RMACertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.2 years' experience as a Certified Medical Assistant6 months of phlebotomy experienceWhy join us:Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employees.Financial Protection & PTO: Life, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid family leave, and a minimum of 10 days of paid time off per year (for full-time employees) as well as 8 paid holidays per year.Financial & Career Growth: Higher education and certification tuition assistance, loan assistance and 401(k) retirement package and company match.Employee Well-being: Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs (free gym memberships, virtual care appointments, mental health services and discount programs).Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities.Connect with a Recruiter:Not ready to complete an application, or have questions?
