Job description
The Alaska Department of Health is seeking a chemist to join the Anchorage State Public Health Laboratory. You will work on high-complexity testing and instrument platforms to support public health missions for Alaskans.
Responsibilities include developing proficiency with GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, and LC-MS/MS, performing testing for clinical partners and the LRNC program, and collaborating on method development while coordinating with partners for emergency preparedness exercises.
