Job Description

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Coffman Engineers, you will be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team that believes in making a difference for our clients and our communities. Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically mindedSenior Civil Engineer(8+ years) to join our team in applying engineering skills to challenging, rewarding projects. You will mentor and lead civil engineers and drafters, coordinate with clients and jurisdictions, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter eager to grow and have fun with us!
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required with ability to be licensed in Washington State
Minimum of eight years of professional experience in site development.
Experience collaborating with local and State agency/engineering community is a plus.
Experience designing site development plans for permitting, bid, and construction.
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; technical studies; and preparation of site or public improvement grading, stormwater management, and utility plans.
Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with other team members.
Effective technical writing and communication skills
Strong project management, mentoring, and business development skills are required.
A desire to work with a collaborative team and to grow professionally.
Expected annual salary range depending on experience: $115,000-$145,000
