* Program complex turning operations, including multi-axis and live-tool machining where applicable.
* Select tooling, work holding, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
* Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirements.
* Lead new-part setup, prove-out, first-piece inspection, and production launch.
* Troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, cycle-time, and quality issues.
* Improve cycle times, tool life, process capability, and overall equipment effectiveness.
* Create and maintain setup sheets, tooling lists, work instructions, and program documentation.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams.

* Opportunities to lead process improvements and mentor team members.
* A collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment.
* Competitive compensation and benefits based on experience.
Requirements:
* Minimum five years of CNC programming and manufacturing engineering experience, with significant emphasis on CNC lathes.
* Advanced knowledge of turning operations, tooling, speeds and feeds, work holding, and process development.
* Proven ability to program CNC lathes from engineering drawings and solid models.
* Experience with CAD/CAM software and manual G-code programming.
* Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement.
* Experience troubleshooting difficult machining and production problems.
* Ability to independently manage projects from concept through production.
* Strong communication, documentation, and team leadership skills.
* Experience with Swiss-style, multi-axis, dual-spindle, or live-tool lathes is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement methods is preferred.
