Senior CNC MachinistSenior CNC Machinist – Direct hire location: Berne, IN Pay: Up to $32/hour (based on experience) 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Overtime: As neededPro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a full time opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and make program edits while holding tight tolerances. If you're someone who can walk up to a machine, understand the print, and make the necessary adjustments to get quality parts out consistently—we'd love to talk to you.What You'll Be DoingSet up, operate, and run CNC machines for precision part productionMachine parts to exact tolerances based on complex blueprintsLoad, edit, and adjust CNC programs to match tooling and job requirementsSelect proper tooling and make adjustments based on material and applicationInspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standardsTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues independentlyPerform hand finishing work such as filing, fitting, and scrapingRecord labor and production data accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWhat You Need to QualifyHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredTrade school certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience preferredAdvanced CNC machining experience (setup + program editing required)Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints independentlyStrong understanding of tooling selection and machining applicationsProven ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs, tooling, and processesStrong math skills and attention to detailAbility to pass a background checkThis is a true senior-level role—candidates must be comfortable running machines, completing setups, and making program edits without supervision.Why This Opportunity Stands OutDirect hire – no temp periodCompetitive pay based on experienceComprehensive health benefitsRetirement plan optionsPaid time offLong-term stability with a well-established companyOpportunities for advancement and continued skill developmentApply today to be considered for this exciting opportunity!
